My Poems: Mystic Lovers

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Assalamu Alaikum,

Somewhat inspired by Mally and Sarah.

This is dedicated to many people, but as to a specific individual in mind, probably Carly.

Mystic Lovers

The rarest star,

You are, you are,

A Divine miracle.

A sign of perfection,

Shine in every direction,

You at your pinnacle.

Each atom so beautiful,

A heart’s love is never full,

God’s art is incredible.

Glass slowly fades,

Mirrors shatter reality,

Colors blend in shades,

We are in eternity.

Galaxies revolve around you,

Memories call onto me,

Dreams and thoughts I never knew,

And here we are in eternity.

We are burning meteors, lighting skies,

Comets and moons greet us tonight.

The universe smiles and sighs,

As we dance with the Everlasting Light.

Every star in space,

Every atom in place,

Moves at the same pace,

At the beat of our hearts’ pace.

The centuries pass in a second.

The aurora of love goes to infinity.

Don’t hesitate for a second—

This is the true reality.

The sea of stars, we sail,

To the coast of the isle of eternity.

We surpass dimensions; don’t fail—

With the One, we’ll reach infinity.

Crystal trees, glowing leaves,

Thoughts unweave and emotion breathes,

We are here with the One.

Time to burn in the ever bright sun.

We are twin stars on the ageless floor,

Planets zoom past and begin to soar.

Unending flowers are beyond sound and hue,

Brilliant love stretches beyond our view.

Our movements are guided by the mystic breeze,

Oh Divine, we are moving limitless around You.

With each chance to get closer, we seize.

Each ripple on the water of love is made new.

Come with me, come with me,

All words are unbelievable,

All thoughts are inconceivable,

Unless they are of the Almighty.

Glass and mirrors melt,

A forgotten emotion is now felt.

This is reality.

A heart so pure,

Can only let God allure,

Us to be free.

Take our hands,

To unknown lands,

Where we sing Your beauty.

A wish under the silver moon,

To sing the celestial tune,

For You interminably.

Lost in space and time,

We only want to be with the Divine.

All the dimensions and the universe,

Cannot contain the love for Your verse.

Incandescent light,

Beyond our sight.

Words running few,

I love You.

…Phew, that was long. Hope you enjoyed it and sorry for the bad meter.

    I LOVE THIS POEM!

It sounds so magical and so enchanting! It is an awesome English sufi poem!I love all of it, but what sticks out to me:

We are burning meteors, lighting skies,
Comets and moons greet us tonight.
    The universe smiles and sighs,
As we dance with the Everlasting Light.

    And:

    Crystal trees, glowing leaves,

    I LOVE IT!

I liked this line too: “Crystal trees, glowing leaves”

Yay! I got Sarah’s and Noreen’s approval! Thanks. I actually don’t like three of the stanzas, but it is a nice change from my other poetry. I hope to put actually relevant posts soon.

Hey Mally–anything else you approve or disprove from the poem? XD I originally wrote the poem with a lot more chemistry diction, but I thought of laying that off because not many people would get it. Haha.

  5. Sarah said,

    I like this part:

    Every star in space,
    Every atom in place,
    Moves at the same pace,
At the beat of our hearts’ pace.
